Thanks for the suggestions. Its that funky CSS voodoo math that I've got to understand here. Probably a n00b assumption, but I thought that "100%" meant relative to the size of the parent. Obviously there's more to it than that. …

It definitely happens with the Kitchen Sink Demo app, which appears to use joStackScroller. I tried it native on the iPad under PhoneGap.
